Hi, I’m Jonathan Ferrari
a UC Berkeley Student, aspiring Data Scientist, and Photographer
Currently, I am a student at UC Berkeley with an intended triple major in Data Science, Cognitive Science, and Psychology, with a minor in Logic. In my most recent project, I created a machine learning algorithm that predicts the political affiliation of a U.S. county using information from the COVID-19 pandemic and demographic information, with 92.6% test accuracy. I am also currently employed at the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office of UC Berkeley as a Peer Financial Educator. Technical Skills
Skilled in basic data cleaning, table operations, data queries, linear regression analysis, statistical distribution analysis, bootstrapping, A/B testing, and simple classification. Mathematical proficiencies including Calculus, Logic, Cryptography Probability, and Combinatorics.
Soft Skills
Able to effectively and appropriately manage a team to complete large-scale projects. Highly skilled in the ability to both creatively and straightforwardly solve problems. Efficient management and use of resources such as time, manpower, financing, and material.
Hard Skills
Proficient in using Jupyter Notebooks, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams), G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive), Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, Lightroom, Photoshop). Basic knowledge of Python 3. Learning LaTeX, R, and SQL
